For this project I wanted to create a grade calculator for my Social Psychology class on Excel that would more easily help me to see how my grade is broken down for the semester. It is able to take the weights for my assignments, projects, and exams and calculate my averages and an overall percentage grade. I also included a pie chart based on the grade weights to show their distribution. When completing the project I used Excel and created a spreadsheet. One challenge I faced in this project was figuring out how to calculate the averages for the assignments, projects, and exams and have all of the cells in the rows be included, and also making sure that the overall grade had a formula with the right decimals to show the percentage. I watched the class excel videos and also found a couple helpful videos on Youtube to help me with my project. I did achieve what I set out to accomplish, and next if I were to continue this project I would apply what I did in this spreadsheet and create more grade calculators for my other classes.
